2. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Cooperate throughout the project

  • Use the final work only for lawful purposes

  • Not infringe on any third-party rights (e.g., plagiarism, copyright)

3. Payments

  • Fees will be communicated in advance via email or proposal.

  • Payment schedules may include deposits, milestones, or upfront fees.

  • All payments are processed securely via BACs.

  • Late payments may incur a fee or pause project delivery.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, you will own the rights to the final deliverables unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We retain the right to showcase anonymous samples for portfolio purposes (unless you request confidentiality in writing).

  • You agree not to claim authorship of any material not created or reviewed by BookLab.

5. Confidentiality

We treat all client content as confidential. We will not share, sell, or publish your manuscript or ideas without your consent.

6. Revisions & Refunds

  • We typically include two rounds of revisions as part of our service.

  • Additional revisions may incur a fee.

  • Refunds are only issued in cases of non-delivery or mutual agreement and are subject to our discretion.

7. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookLab is not liable for:

  • Any loss of profits or revenue

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Outcomes resulting from how the final work is used or published

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate services if:

  • The client breaches these Terms

  • There is abusive or inappropriate behaviour

  • The project becomes unfeasible

You may terminate services at any time, subject to any agreed payment obligations.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
